Critical Challenge is an event promoted by Critical Move in association with MIT Portugal.

The challenge intends to promote and award research and development with a direct impact on mobility solutions. Teams are challenged to design and validate an electric and autonomous (no driver) vehicle able to transport people in an urban environment. The winning team may receive a prize money exceeding 40 000?, besides a wide exposure to the media and a chance to network with other teams and companies.

Critical Challenge is advancing to a new stage. In order to provide clarification on this challenge, there will be a promotional road show through Portugal?s main teaching institutions. This event is scheduled to start in December and will include six lectures.

The lectures will be given either by António Cunha or Luís Sousa and some will have the presence of special guests. Each lecture will be hosted by a different teaching institution and will be open to the scientific community (students, teachers and investigators) but also to any interested public in such different fields as robotic, mechanics, design and others. Listed below are the dates and location of the presentations.
